7. Free, all-inclusive music recitals.
Every May and December, our students have the option of performing in our recitals. Students are not required to perform, but many choose to. We hold these recitals at prestigious auditoriums, such as West Chester University, as they have a grand Steinway piano and world-class acoustics.
Every parent just wants to know how their child is doing and if they are really progressing. The best way for a parent to understand if their investment in lessons is really worth it, is to have their child participate in a recital.
Parents never have to pay admission or any related fees for these recitals.
8. Early morning and lunchtime lessons for homeschoolers, retirees, college students, and working professionals.
Since we are the fastest growing school in Chester County, we are able to be a 'full service' music school.
This allows us to offer lessons as early as 10:00 a.m. and we see many students between the hours of 11:00 a.m. - 2:00 p.m.
If you are a homeschool parent, retiree, college student, or working professional who has a flexible schedule, take advantage of our early morning and lunch time lesson spots.
9. FREE Picture Day
We are the only music school in West Chester that offers a picture day for their students.
Every Fall we host a free picture day with a professional photographer. This is a service that our student's parents love as they all want quality photos of their children. Adults are welcome too! Students can bring their instruments to the photo shoot and wear whatever they like.

The West Chester Music Academy is conveniently located off of 202 and Rt 3. WCMA music lessons are easy to find with plenty of free parking. Close to our school, you will find great shopping and dining at the West Goshen Town Center.
11. Month to Month Lessons
West Chester Music Academy does not require semester minimums for lessons. Every student here is on a month-to-month basis. If you are ready to start, you have nothing to lose as we only want students who truly want to be here and we will not commit you to a long-term contract.
12. Trophies, certificates, and award wristbands to celebrate achievement.
We are the only music schools in West Chester that give their students the opportunity to earn special color wristband bracelets (kids and teens love them!), trophies, AND certificates for passing musical tests. Do other schools offer trophies and certificates? A few. But none of them inspire their students with smiling faces by giving them full-color, really cool “Musical Ladder” wristbands that they can show off to their friends.

That’s why, twice a year, we present our Red Carpet recitals in professional recital halls equipped with a Steinway grand piano (at no added fee). My 7 year old son Brian started his piano lessons for some time now and I am amazed by not only the fact that this little guy can read music and play but the huge amount of confidence he has gained. He volunteers to play in music class at school and feels proud to play at home for his family. He has gained just so much enjoyment from playing. That comes directly from the infectious joy of music the staff and his teacher share with him during his lessons. The entire staff is so friendly and a pleasure to be around. They make music fun and encourage development in the instrument; from games to little rewards and trophies the encouragement is unbounding. We’ve only been as WCMA for about 2 months. We’ve already had a wonderful recital and right now my child is getting an hour group make up lessons since we’ll be on vacation next week. AMAZING. Normally we would just miss out when we were away but WCMA goes the extra mile. The communication is outstanding! It’s easy to go online and see what’s available when our schedule changes. My daughter LOVES her teacher and is learning so much. Highly recommend! I would give more stars if I was allowed!

Excellent academy. They conduct recitals at the west chester university every quarter and it’s such a beautiful thing to see our kids learning something and performing on a stage and the school arranges it.
