Musical Crafts
Our special “musical crafts” lessons teach children music theory in a fun, artistic way. Kids love it!
Musical Theory
We teach your child to read music in the same manner they are taught letters, numbers, colors, shapes, etc. We have created an array of colorful music teaching tools and worksheets that teach rhythm, pitch, notation, symbols and key signatures.
Live Performances
Music FunTime offers students the opportunity a few times a year to rehearse in a larger group and perform at public venues, this gives the children the understanding of listening to other performers and grows confidence in themselves.
Musical Instruments
Students are given a backpack of rhythm instruments at registration to use in class and at home. Throughout the course, additional instruments are provided adding variety, diversity and fun! All students are introduced to piano, guitar, percussion, violin, bells, kazoos, flutophones and recorders.
Music FunTime is more than a simple play group where children sing, dance, jump and play instruments.
Music Classes for Preschoolers engineered by Music FunTime is an innovative, structured,and progressive curriculum derived from Johns-Hopkins Research exploring the magical connection between math & science through music for children newborn thru 7 years of age. Children learn to read music notation, rhythms and symbols, and play the instruments of their choosing.
Through small preschool, kindergarten & early elementary group music classes in a classroom atmosphere, children use musical crafts, worksheets, games and instruments in a fun exciting way to explore and nurture a strong music foundation which becomes a way of life, thus, gaining all the benefits of uniting both hemispheres of the brain.
How does Music FunTime Work?
Tuition: $124 monthly group classes. Tuition is collected monthly, every 1st of the month tuition will be processed. One Time Registration fee: $75.00 FOR ALL CLASSES. Monthly tuition is based on the average of 4 lessons per month. We operate on a 48-week year. During the months that you have 5 lessons, we do not charge you more. During the months that you have 3 lessons, we do not charge you less. The tuition is the SAME each month. Any dates we are closed due to uncontrollable circumstances such as weather, you can schedule a drop-in class. No credits will be given for missed classes. Instead, we allow up to 12 drop-in make-up lessons per year. If you need to cancel a lesson, simply call, email, or text us before the start of your lesson. You can book your make-up lesson up to one week in advance, and it can be used anytime while enrolled with us.
Students come in once per week for a 30 minute group class (max of 6 kids). Some students choose to come in twice per week to accelerate their progress.
We host classes for kids ages 2 to 5 years old. We have various sessions available for the different age groups.
Classes available morning and afternoon. When you register for a class time, that will be your class day and time you will attend every week.
No Long-term Contracts. Strictly Month to Month.
