Join the WCMA Choir at Christkindlmarkt 2026!
WCMA students are invited to take part in a very special holiday performance at the 7th Annual Christkindlmarkt in Downtown West Chester!
On Saturday, December 12, 2026 at 2:30 PM (time may vary slightly), the WCMA Choir will perform a festive selection of holiday favorites on the Old Courthouse steps in West Chester, PA. Christkindlmarkt is a beloved outdoor holiday market that is free and open to the public, making this a wonderful opportunity for students to perform for family, friends, and the West Chester community. Come celebrate the season, make music with fellow WCMA students, and be part of this memorable holiday tradition!

Old Courthouse Steps — 2 N. High Street West Chester, PA
Please be aware that streets will be partially closed in town for the event. Parking will be tricky so please plan ahead and give yourself plenty of time to find a space and walk to the performance area.
We are asked to report 20 minutes prior to the performance. The performers report to the M&T Bank (and back towards the fountain) on performance day. Staff will be there and will be able to assist with coordination. Please report there by 2:10pm. (tentatively).
Participants
Who can sign-up? Any WCMA family member ages 6+ can register for the WCMA Choir. Appropriate classroom behavior and conduct is required at all times.
Rehearsals
Participants will attend six Sunday rehearsals at 1:00 PM-2:00 PM during the fall:

**Students must at least attend 4 out of the 6 rehearsals to participate. **
Fee
The participation fee is $49 per student and is due upon sign-up submission. The card on file with WCMA will be charged when registration is submitted. Please note that no refunds will be issued for missed rehearsals or a missed performance.
Repertoire
Musical titles, lyrics, and recordings will be distributed to performers by the first rehearsal.
