🎼 New Year, New Practice Routines!
A new year is the perfect time to refresh practice habits. Here are 5 parent-friendly ways to help your child start strong:
1. Pick a “practice anchor.”Attach practice to something that already happens every day—right after breakfast, after homework, or before screen time.
2. Keep it short + consistent.A daily 5–10 minute streak beats occasional long sessions.
3. Make the goal visible.Use a checklist or calendar—kids love seeing progress add up!
4. Praise effort, not perfection.Celebrate showing up, trying again, and working through challenges.
5. End on a win.Finish with a favorite song or easy section so practice ends feeling successful—and they’ll want to come back tomorrow. 🎵
